Independence Day
Dearly Beloved,
In this month we celebrate our independence and freedom as a nation, but what about our own independence.
We can not be independent or free externally until we are independent and free internally.
Beloved, we will never know true freedom or sovereignty until we get ourselves free from the bondage within our own souls.
True freedom comes from an inner peace the remains
despite outward experiences and until that peace within is achieved, no outward freedoms can be understood or enjoyed.
Inner peace begins and ends with LOVE, LOVE of the LORD and
LOVE of our neighbors.
These two principles are a requirement for peace of the soul. Beloved, When we come to the knowledge that we are loved by a loving and caring creator who not only provides for our needs, but in turn died for our sins through Jesus Christ so that we may forgive and be forgiven; we begin to realize that we are all of high value and not mere accidents of happenstance.
Then as this realization of how valuable we are as human beings, we start to truly love others as human beings and as this progresses, the bondage of hatred, intolerance, inhumanity starts to fade away. Thus true freedom and true independence is made manifest in our lives, and even if we lost these freedoms externally, internally we could not be made slaves to bondage, and we would be a free people. Once free and independent internally, external freedom must and will come. This is when we can shout from the rooftops this is our Independence Day.
Praise the Lord who fights for our freedoms internally.
May the LORD Bless our service men and women who fight for our freedoms externally.
Peace be with you on your Independence Day.

A PEOPLE DIVIDED WILL FALL,
