The Power of Prayer
Dearly Beloved,
We live in perilous times, before we can even grab a cup of coffee we are bombarded with tragic news. The world as we have know it seems to be spiraling downward from humanity to greater depths of Inhumanity and suffering. It is with this sermon that the declaration is… PRAY TOGETHER!.
We must come together to pray in large numbers for the benifit of all.
In (Luk 11:9) (Christ Says) And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. The Lord goes even further by stating in (Luk 11:5-13) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?. Our father in heaven is exactly that, OUR FATHER, OUR CAREGIVER, OUR PROVIDER, a parent that diligently looks after the needs of his children without fail. But because of the gift of free will we must pray for our needs, hope in the promise, and believe.
The power of prayer is undeniable so as we begin to come to a full knowledge of the power of prayer we also find another promise of the Lord. (Mat 18:19) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
(Mat 18:20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. If two or three are gathered together in the name of the Lord and ask it will be done.
This is a promise of GOD, knowing this why are we not holding group praying sessions to pray for each other and the world. Group prayer, is fiercely needed today, coming to together in love and under the blood of Jesus Christ ringing in one resounding voice our supplications to the LORD.
My dear brothers and sisters we must come together and pray so that we may have not only a united front against the enemies of humanity, but also rejuvenate the fire of righteousness within Each of us. There used to be a saying "A family that prays together stays together", this is true.
We are a family in Jesus Christ, we should be praying for each other and our leaders. If we can be unified in righteousness we will shake the foundations of hell itself. We would truly have a nation for the people, by the people, one nation under GOD, indivisible with liberty, and true justice for all. The opportunity is within our grasp, be we must be willing to let go of inhibitions and dive into Prayer together. The motto we end with at every Online Sermon is…
"A PEOPLE UNITED WILL STAND, A PEOPLE DIVIDED WILL FALL, LET US BE A PEOPLE UNITED." Especially in prayer!
Keep Love and Joy Alive
