BREATHE

Next Sunday we will continue on and finish the “What is a Christian" series, but Today’s sermon is entitled Breathe, And the reason this sermon was written is due to a reflection that came upon me the other day and perhaps this may affect you in your life as well. I was invited to an outing the other day and it was truly pleasant to see people come together an enjoying their moment in time. You see there is something to be said for a hot meal, great company, and good conversation. God gave us life to live, but many of us are so caught up with trying to live we sometimes forget about life and just simply enjoying the moment.
I must confess that I am a great offender of this myself, during the course of the evening I was able to go down to a beach area with dear friends and watch the sunset. It was shocking to me to realize just how long it has been since I had the pleasure of seeing one, and it was then that the realization of the gravity, of how many things myself and others, carry on our shoulders on a daily basis, while we worry about tomorrow.

STOP! just STOP!, and breathe, take a moment and realize the beauty around you. Smell a rose, see a sunset, and listen to a bird sing.

We are saved by a loving and gracious GOD, in him do we trust.
So… Breathe…

We have a good Shepherd, enjoy the life he has given, I leave this with you in Jesus Christ Amen.
