The Bible

Dear Friends,

As CHRIST-ians we should always study the word of GOD. Studying the bible not only helps us understand how GOD interacts with us but it shows the human condition. There are many who believe that the bible is nothing more than just a book written by a various sources to give some sort of moral lesson and some religious control, when in FACT it IS a history of how the Lord loves and intervenes in our lives, while showing the choices, (good and bad), that we have made and continue to make. You see, the bible shows with intense detail how some chose to follow the Lord , how most didn't, how some started on the road to glory but fell away, and why some had to fall from grace to be raised to an even higher grace and glory. The bible is not a book of moralistic stories, it is our guiding light from the darkness of our own sinful nature. The sinful nature that pushes us to lie, cheat, steal, hate, covet, and destroy one another. In this book
(the Bible), is the trials, the pain, and the journey of men and women in the human condition, and as we read and study we can achieve a greater understanding of our heavenly father and ourselves.
2Ti 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

By studying we can discern right from wrong, good from evil, and discover the meaning to this thing we call life.
