Independence Day

Dear Friends,

This week we celebrated Independence Day, this holiday is a celebration of the colonies Declaration Of Independence which would lead to the formation of the United States of America. This week we should not only celebrate the liberty of our country but of ourselves.
Day in and day out we are bombarded by negative actions, violence, and seemingly stuck in a rut of living paycheck to paycheck, worrying about bills, health care, and where we stand in the universe; working hard but feeling depressed, debased and unloved, thus being an oppressed people.
Today welcome Jesus Christ into your heart and let him fill you with love to combat the hate, peace to combat the violence, hope to combat the despair, and inner strength so that you too can make your declaration of independence and become a person who truly embodies freedom and liberty giving justice to all. To be truly free in the world a person must have true freedom inside themselves. Then comes OUR Independence Day.
