Abridging The Great Divide

Dear Friends,

In our lives there are many challenges that we must face,
on the road of life there are many pitfalls and potholes,
sudden curves, dead ends, and places that take a person
close to the very edge. Most of us walk this road separate
from people who walk on this very same road ...Why?

There is a saying “United We Stand, Divided We Fall”
We are a people divided, We are falling individually,
We are losing the battle to achieve true happiness
of life and liberty.

All of us should be what the Lord made us to be,
individuals, and independent, but also what must
be acknowledged is that we can be individuals and
still work together with others to achieve a communal
harmony.

If we joined hands on the road we're traveling and stop
to help one another cross the potholes, and pull each
other up from the pitfalls, we could experience true
happiness and harmony with friends who have become
family.

LET US BE A PEOPLE UNITED,
BRIDGE THE GREAT DIVIDE.
Because a people united no matter how weak is greater
than the strongest individual.
