To Dream A Dream

Dear Friends,

Dreams, they are what give us a purpose, a
goal to achieve, to what we would like to be.
Like being a great baseball player, chewing
a mouthful of gum, smelling the hot dog
aroma from the vendors walking in the
isles, hearing the crowd roar as you hit
another home run. Or perhaps like Martin
Luther King, dreaming of a day when all
people can be free from oppression.

Whatever the dream, taking the first step is
often the hardest. Amazingly often when
we decide to take on our endeavor(s) we
often come across the most extreme
opposition, sadly, even by people we
love and respect.

When a you choose the dream to
pursue, it seems as if the gates of hell
has been opened and everything is
against you. You may find that even
loved ones don't believe in your aspiration
or your ability to achieve it. In life you
will meet many with a Can't Do attitude,
but it is the person with a CAN DO !
attitude that prevails.

For example, Martin Luther King had
the dream of breaking the color barrier.
But in reaching for his goal, he was fraught
with endless tests of will, patience, and health.
But he marched on despite the heavy opposition
and led a march with people of all races coming
together. You too may come against similar
barriers but... Keep your hope Alive because...

Without a dream the people parish, YOU will start
to parish. Hold on to your dream and though you
will meet resistance...... PRESS ON,
go ever forward never looking back,
If YOU don't live your dream...
WHO WILL.

Keep Joy And Love Alive

Rev. E
